About
I've spent my life in the beautiful green Willamette Valley of Oregon. The art focus didn't start until my early 30's when I went back to school and rediscovered an old love neglected since childhood. In 2004, I graduated from Western Oregon University with a BS in Art, focus on Ceramics and Printmaking. Early years have reflected the surrounding natural environment: from native plants and animals to the river and stream ecosystems.
In 2016 I stepped into the world of processing wool and what can be created from the natural material. In 2019 I started learning the art of spinning and needle felting wool.
2024 was the reintroduction of clay into life. I'm having to tackle issues with kilns, firing temperatures and clay bodies. Things are finally coming into alignment as I hit the 1 year mark. Photos to come.
I live and work in Albany Oregon with my husband Dave of over 30 years, 1 dog, 2 cats and 1 bird.
